EEMAPE / GAPMET
Greek Association of Primary Music Teachers
EEMAPE / GAPMET is a non profit Association of Primary Education’s Music Teacher with Research, Educational and Innovative activities. In the field of professional’s training, there is a key interest in the Association about education in a European dimension. Also, Comparative studies of the European members educational systems and pedagogic, interchanging, collaborations with universities and institutes from all over Europe focus on this point.
In the field of music education as profession, because of the range of music, a lot of chances exist: general education and music, special education and music, music therapy, arts and music education, music education and education management etc. In that level, European experience is a key factor too.
Globalization as a modifier of culture and contemporary nets as modifiers of communication generates new conditions in education. Research and training towards this is a priority for EEMAPE, related with the participation to this project.
